Clean the temples arms of the frames and the nosepads from time to time. Try this inspect your work and if theres some improvement repeat. Use lukewarm running water and a drop of pH-neutral hand soap to clean your frames.
Use a cotton or soft wool cloth with a little non-abrasive toothpaste to quickly buff away scratches on eye glasses. Let the cloth soak in the soap for a few minutes and then rinse it clean in cold water. To take your clean glasses one step further talk to your eye doctor about glasses with an anti-reflective coating.
Let the cloth air dry when finished. Afterwards place the cloth in the dryer on low heat with no dryer sheet. Always hold your glasses securely on the side of the frame that you are cleaning.
